Zoélie had a great day on Sunday, thanks to everyone who made it, and for all the lovely gifts!!
Thanks also to Rosie and Antoine, who thought to get Alix a gift for her not to feel left out, and then for staying after everyone had gone to help us clean up. Monday was a civic holiday in Quebec, so since "La garderie" was closed and Nic had the day off, I left most of the dishes for Nic to do on Monday!!!
Ce matin a 6:18 Zoélie a eu un an!!! Je n'en revient pas, elle est rendue si grande, elle commence vraiment à intéragir avec Alix et je trouve ça magnifique. Je me demande si elle va marcher bientôt...elle est si rapide à quatres pattes, je ne sait pas si elle sera intéressée!!
Pour dimanche, nous avons invité la famille et plusieurs amis pour un BBQ pour la fête de Zozo, j'espère qu'il fera beau et que tout le monde sera de bonne humeur! En tout cas, je suis sûre que les enfants vont s'amuser avec la nouvelle structure (balançoires et glissoire) et dans le carré de sable - des nouvelles additions dans notre jardin.
That's right, on Sunday morning for father's day, all four of us went swimming in the river - I use the term loosely: Alix went in to her neck, and Zozo succeeded in getting her feet wet!! But we all had fun and I'm hoping that we'll go more often this year.
I'd really like to have Alix jumping off the end of the dock by the end of the summer - I think we'll have to work on her courage a little!!
